   Accenture Energy was glad in giving placements to 3 of our final B.Tech Petroleum Engineering students.Congrats to Mr. Rohit Kumar.M.J, Mr. Mohammed Farhan & MS. Latha.

3. Leading consulting company – looking for research analyst roles – Scope – only for B.Tech Petroleum Engg – End of Jan or  mid of Feb.
4. Mechanical based production company – Liaison going on
5. Zep Infratech – GET – EEE,ECE,IT and CSE – Approached – Need to wait till Feb 2012.
6. EMBKA – Small company of our own alumni.

We have received the feedback about the Campus Drive conducted on 9^th Dec 2011 by Ascenders Technologies Private Limited.A very good count of students have cleared written test, technical and HR.

We are yet to receive directions on whether further short screening is required or date when they will issue letters of intent – message dated 2nd Jan 2012.

The GATE Academy Scholarship Test 20th Dec 2011

The GATE Academy scholarship test results are out. Students those who took this GATE scholarship test conducted on 20th Dec 2011 by private party can check their results. If any interested candidates, please advice them to use their discretion in choosing any paid training package.

The test was organized to get to know our students technical standards. The college doesn’t stand accountable for any marketing options of the GATE Academy. Dept placement coordinators can also help them in their decision making.

If further directions are required, they can contact us, Placement & Training officers. Please pass this message to all 3rd & 4th Years of your branch.

Oct Nov Dec 2011 Happenings @RGCE Placement Office

1. Placement Organizer – GTT, Global Talent Track – Assessment for campus placements in select IT companies – Represent multiple software companies. High number of candidates with high scoring would directly get the opportunity to take further assessments with companies -Test conducted on 8th Dec 2011- Assessment type: Computer Based Tests CBT – Reasoning, logical, quantitative, verbal, aptitude/GK and followed by personality test –  Branches Eligible : ECE,EEE,CSE,IT & ME. Results announced – only 1 out of 110 who took the test cleared it. Very pathetic. They now encourage training prospects for our students and not placement prospect. The directions relating the training will be furnished as soon as we have.
2. Ascenders technologies – IT based role – Eligible for all branches except PE.
